With more than a decade of experience in the health insurance industry, I bring a deep, operational understanding of Medicare marketing and compliance. I am fully licensed to sell health insurance and hold current Medicare AHIP certification, allowing me to stay closely aligned with evolving CMS and HHS marketing requirements. My experience spans more than ten years dedicated specifically to the Medicare space, working within teams from both consumer-facing and administrative perspectives.
I began my career on the broker and agent side, where I experienced firsthand the real-world pressures agents and agencies face when communicating plan information, supporting beneficiaries, and navigating compliance requirements during AEP, OEP, and SEP. That foundation shaped how I approach compliance today, not as a checklist, but as a practical, day-to-day function that must work in real operations. I later transitioned into administrative roles as a business analyst and project manager, where I worked inside organizations to translate regulatory expectations into executable workflows.
In embedded and cross-functional roles, I partnered closely with TPMOs, marketing teams, and leadership to manage compliance risk, build repeatable processes, and oversee marketing activities across channels. I worked directly with carriers to interpret marketing guardrails, align submission requirements, and operationalize compliance standards so teams could move efficiently without second-guessing requirements. Rather than advising from the outside, I functioned as part of the team, supporting ad review workflows, carrier submissions, script approvals, and readiness for audits and enrollment periods.
Today, I work as an embedded or fractional Medicare Marketing Compliance Manager, integrating directly into existing teams to provide consistent oversight, clarity, and accountability. I help organizations build systems that keep compliance working even when volumes increase and timelines tighten. My focus is not just on reviewing materials, but on strengthening the processes, communication, and decision-making that allow Medicare marketing teams to operate confidently, accurately, and in alignment with CMS and carrier expectations throughout the entire marketing lifecycle.
